The Stotesbury Cup Regatta is the oldest and largest high school rowing event of the year. This year, on May 17-19, 2012, more than 5,000 student rowers from 180 high schools around the nation will converge on Philadelphia. SC Crew will join the more than 15,000 spectators that line the banks of the Schuylkill River to watch their favorite students race the 1,500 meter course, which starts above the Strawberry Mansion Bridge and heads downstream to the Columbia Bridge in the historic Fairmount Park. Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School has a wonderful web site (the link will take you to it).  Parents, there is a vidio tape from a camera mounted on a platform behind the cox of the heat race for the men's first 8 (scroll down a little).  Have a look at how hard your childern are working.
